Pathway Development is a family-owned business with deep roots in real estate and construction industries. In addition to developing our own projects, we partner with owners, building a team that will expertly navigate to successful project completion. Our focus areas include hospitality, faith-based, warehouse, self-storage, education, multi-family housing and mixed-use property development.
Brian Parker, Principal
As the founder of Pathway Development, Brian Parker brings nearly 20 years of experience in all aspects of real estate, development and construction to his leadership role.
With a strong career focus on the commercial sector, Brian has served in key positions related to the development and construction of more than $1 billion in commercial and hospitality projects: more than $850 million in new-build hotels, $45 million in hotel renovation and $200 million in commercial construction projects.
Brian’s wide-ranging development expertise includes complex responsibilities related to site selection, budget creation, lender and partner relations, design, permitting and construction, FF&E and OS&E procurement and installation.
As Senior Vice President of Development and Construction for Vision Hospitality Group, Brian’s responsibilities included supervising all new development and construction processes, as well as permitting and design and construction review.
In former executive positions, he has served as an owner representative for hospitality projects, guiding team relationships and managing fiscal details on multiple ongoing projects. Brian’s work with commercial general contractors gave him a strong foundation in pre-construction and management roles involving collaboration with all stakeholders including subcontractors, government agencies and financial institutions.
Brian earned his MBA with a concentration in real estate from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Construction Management with a concentration in real estate development from Southern Polytechnic State University in Georgia.
